Café car interior.	Pedestal seating in the Café car. The set up was designed to encourage passengers to return to their seats. This design will be added to refurbished Acela Regional Café cars. A peek behind the purple door at the end of the café car will reveal the conductor's cab, a retreat for the conductor. Inside is a screen that will show the train's current speed or the status of the train doors if the train is at a station. If you look closely, you can see the speed of the train is 61 MPH (not very fast). Don't expect to see this often though. The door is often closed and locked.
