Superliner Passenger Cars The Superliner I and Superliner II are almost identical for most practical purposes, and difficult to tell apart. The Superliner I was manufactured from 1978 to 1981 by Pullman Standard. The Superliner II was manufactured by Bombardier in 1993-1994. Both cars are found on many of Amtrak's long distance services outside the Northeast. |
