Tri-Rail operates from Miami to West Palm Beach via Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties. Currently, service is primarily single tracked, so trains run hourly during most times of the day. With the completion of the currently ongoing double track project, trains will be able to run every 20 minutes during rush hour. Tri-Rail serves three airports: Miami International, Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International, and West Palm Beach, and has a connection to the Miami Metrorail at the Metrorail Transfer station.
