Egged (Haifa) Mercedes-Benz O 405 Buses
Egged currently only operates standard length buses in Haifa. There are two main central bus stations in the city. Hof Hacarmel Central Bus Station is the busier of the two and serves local routes and intercity routes from south of Haifa, including routes to and from Tel Aviv, Jerusalem,and Eilat. Hamifratz Central Bus Station serves local routes and intercity routes from north and east of Haifa. These stations opened in 2003 and 2002, respectively, and are adjacent to Israel Railways stations with the same names. Prior to that time, Haifa's had one central bus station, which was the Bat Galim Central Bus Station located in the center of the city.
