Jerusalem Light Rail: Alstom Citadis 302 LRVs
The Jerusalem Light Rail will have a fleet of 46 Alstom Citadis 302 light rail vehicles. This is the same model that operates in Paris (Line T2), Rotterdam, Barcelona, and Madrid. The cars were delivered to the Port of Ashdod beginning in September of 2007, and are currently sitting at the depot in French Hill awaiting the completion of the infrastructure prior to testing.

The Alstom citadis 302s for the Jerusalem Light Rail have some special features unique for Israel's security situation. Among other security features, the LRVs have windows that will not shatter in the event that rocks are thrown at the train, and the train undercarriages are designed so that bombs cannot be planted under the trains. The trains also have more standard features such as automated announcements, LED signs that display the next stop, and CCTV that can be monitored by the operator.
