Egged operates 6 types of buses on its local Jerusalem routes, including both standard length and articulated buses built by MAN and Mercedes-Benz. The newest of these buses are the MAN NG-363Fs, four door articulated buses that entered service in September 2010. The Jerusalem Central Bus Station is located in West Jerusalem, along the Jaffa Road near the start of the highway to Tel Aviv. As part of the light rail construction project, two busways are being constructed in Jerusalem.
