These were the first CNG buses Ride On ever ordered. They originally came painted in the same color scheme as the other Ride On buses except what was blue on the others was green on the CNGs. Their windows also had a blue sky/cloud wrap. They were repainted and the wrap was removed shortly after the arrival of the 2000 Orion V/CNGs. The buses were renumbered to 5997, 5998, and 5999 in 2005.
