Ride-On 1999 Orion V Buses
The 1999 Orion Vs were the first 40 foot buses Ride-On ordered which were originally owned by Ride-On. They operate from the Silver Spring garage. One 40 footer, 5705, was the bus Conrad Johnson was driving when he was shot during the DC Area Sniper Shootings of October, 2002. 5707 was involved in an accident at the Silver Spring Station shortly after its arrival and was scrapped.
