San Francisco Cable Cars
The cable cars on the California Street line are double ended and do not require a turntable to be turned around at each end. The other two lines are and make use of a turntable at each terminal to be reversed prior to each trip. In addition to the three turntables on the main line at Market and Powell, Beach and Hyde, and Bay and Taylor, there is one at the car barn, making four total systemwide.
